| Doug Martin Ontario, Canada February 2016 I will try and give you my take on the EFOY 140 which I was introduced to at the Toronto Boat Show two years ago by Ron the owner of Bayfield Marine. He knew I was looking for something other than wind or solar power as both didn’t interest me because wind power was noisy and needed wind, solar needed sun and the amount of hardware needed to install both bothered me. I now sit at anchor for days using all the battery power I need without worry, knowing my battery bank is fully charged. Other boaters at anchor wonder how I can go for days without starting my engine. They see no solar or wind power on deck yet I have an endless supply of 12 volt power…Great feeling. I will admit I have a passion for 12v power. My battery pack is 750am which I found is an over kill with the EFOY. I will be downsizing when the batteries need replacing as I will only need half that cutting my cost to replace. The EFOY has a ton of adjustments to suit your battery pack and your usage. The best part (silent running). Get to you anchorage, drop you hook, shut the engine off, and grab a glass of wine. Life is good… EFOY take over. Last year we had another couple join us on our trip to the North Channel, it was a great test for the EFOY…never knew it was there just did its thing. For me support of the product was import and it was nice to talk to people such as yourselves with the same passion and also knew the system inside out. Thanks guys! |
